NCO retires after 32 years of service

REDSTONE ARSENAL, Ala. -- A U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command noncommissioned officer begins the next chapter of his life.

Command Sgt. Maj. Harry W. Jeffries, SMDC Future Warfare Center sergeant major, retired during a ceremony at the command's Redstone Arsenal headquarters June 6.

During the ceremony Jeffries received the Legion of Merit, an American flag, a certificate of appreciation, a three-star note, and a certificate of retirement and pin.

Jeffries retires with 32 years of service.
