An AH-64D Apache attack helicopter pilots from 1st "Attack" Battalion, 227th Aviation Regiment, 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, fire 2.75 inch rockets at a target during Iron Horse Rampage, a lane training exercise for 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cav. Div., at Fort Hood, Texas, Sept. 16. These air/ground integration training exercises help build trust and establish valuable relationships between air and ground forces.

As the sun begins to set, an AH-64D Apache attack helicopter pilots from 1st "Attack" Battalion, 227th Aviation Regiment, 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, takes off from a forward arming and refueling point to take part in Iron Horse Rampage, lane training exercise conducted by 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cav.
