Fallen Soldier memorials for Sgt. 1st Class Daniel M. Ferguson, Staff Sgt. Carlos A. Lazaney-Rodriguez, and Sgt. Timothy W. Owens stand in front of the III Corps headquarters building April 9, 2014. A memorial service for the three Soldiers, who were killed in the April 2 shooting tragedy on the basw was attended by President Barack Obama, first lady Michelle Obama, and thousands of Soldiers from the Fort Hood area.
