SANTA CLARA PUEBLO, N.M., -- Senior leaders from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers headquarters and the Albuquerque District toured the flood and wildfire damaged lands on the Santa Clara Pueblo, March 27, 2014. The Pueblo is requesting funding assistance from USACE based on two prior national disaster declarations and additional damages from flooding in September 2013. Maj. Gen. Kendall P. Cox, Deputy Commanding General, Military and International Operations, Headquarters, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, visited the flood and fire-ravaged land on the Pueblo with Mr. Joe Calcara, South Pacific Division SES Director of Programs, Albuquerque District Commander Lt. Col. Antoinette Gant, tribal members and FEMA personnel.

Maj. Gen. Cox, Mr. Calcara, Lt. Col. Gant and other Albuquerque District team members also met with shareholders and partners at Los Alamos National Laboratories.
