FORT BENNING, Ga., (March 5, 2014) -- Spc. Nathan C. Wilson, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 3rd Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, was convicted of housebreaking, larceny and possession of drugs with intent to distribute during a general court-martial Feb. 25.

The military judge sentenced Wilson to reduction in rank to private, confinement for 21 months and a bad-conduct discharge.

United States District Court, Middle District of Georgia

The United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia sentenced the following people for actions on Fort Benning:

On Jan. 9: Torrence T. Menefee and Kelly L. Williams to a $1,000 fine and 12 months probation for driving under the influence.

On Jan. 16: Kevin R. Bovee and Josephine N. Quiroz to a $1,000 fine and 12 months probation for reckless driving; Justin T. Dangerfield, Julius K. Mclaurin, Shanna C.S. Mclaurin, and Maurice D. Turner to a $1,000 fine and 12 months probation each for driving under the influence; Alseekyi K. Gaither to five months confinement for driving under the influence; Barry A.D. Simmons to 40 hours community service and 90 days probation for possession of marijuana.

On Jan. 23: Christopher J. Chance to a $1,000 fine and 12 months probation for driving under the influence and making an improper turn; Troy B. Mapp Jr. to a $1,000 fine and 12 months probation for driving under the influence; Rebecca P. McClure to five days confinement, a $1,000 fine, and 12 months supervised release for driving under the influence; Harry J. Oliver to four months confinement for theft; Marvin B. Watson Jr. to 12 months probation, a $500 fine, and $500 restitution for misdemeanor sexual battery.

On Feb. 12: Kelly L. Ewald to a $100 fine for theft; Aaron D. Gernon and Eddie R. Lopez to a $1,000 fine and 12 months probation for driving under the influence; Alonzo A. Greene to a $500 fine and 12 months probation for reckless driving.

On Feb. 20: Benjamin L. Cleaves to two months confinement for driving under the influence.
