Name: Olive P. Jordan, secretary office automation, U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala.

Age: I only share it with my friends

Hometown: Columbus, Ga.

Years of federal service: 34 years - five years with the Women's Army Corps, and 29 years as a federal civilian (three of those with the command)

Education: Bachelor of Science in human resources

Marital status: Married

Children: Three girls

Activities/hobbies: Love to crochet, sew, knit and cook

Favorite movie: Ten Commandments with Charleston Heston

Favorite TV show: Too numerous to count. I like watching memorable TV such as Kojak, Perry Mason, Untouchables, etc., and Turner Classic Movies

Favorite band: Do not have a favorite band

Favorite thing about working for the Army: The people who you get to meet in your career, and the leave and holidays that the government provides

What made you want to work for the Army: Do you remember the saying, "Join the Army; See the World" Well, I served in the Women's Corps for five years. Tried the civilian sector; wasn't for me. It's something that I was familiar with, and I enjoy working with both the military and civilian personnel
