CAMP HUMPHREYS -- As a holiday project, members of the Humphreys Youth Center's Keystone Club and Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps spent many hours helping to collect donations for the Sung-yuk Orphanage, located in Songtan. They gathered 100 toothbrushes, more than 150 tubes of toothpaste and almost 600 bars and bottles of soap. On top of that, they brought more than 100 toys. On Dec. 23, the youth and a few adult volunteers delivered the goods to the orphanage. Upon arrival, the youth sang a Christmas carol for the children and staff at the orphanage; then they distributed the toys and spent an hour playing and interacting with the children. The participants would like to extend a big "thank you" to everyone from Camp Humphreys who helped brighten up the holiday season for the children at the orphanage.
