YONGSAN GARRISON, Republic of Korea -- The Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders made an appearance at the United Service Organizations here to meet the community and spread holiday cheer, Dec. 23.
The cheerleaders made their second tour of the year to the USO to greet fans and give out their autographs. Community members were able to meet the cheer team and get photos of the experience. They shared some thoughts about their military service and learned about the work needed to become one of "America's Sweethearts.".
Mia Greenhouse, no stranger to the area, expressed her feelings about the visit.
"This is my third time visiting the military troops in Korea, so it's nice to reminisce about some of the places that I've been, and see some people that I recognize," Greenhouse said. "This tour is a great honor to the members of our team, since there are a total of 39 cheerleaders and only 12 of the girls selected can be on this tour."
Greenhouse said she is thankful for the experience and looks forward to future visits.
"I just want to say thanks to the people in U.S. and here in Korea who support the Dallas Cowboys," she said. "We really had a good time being here and especially we are happy to have had the chance to personally say thank you for all that military personnel do for us (Americans)."
