Command Sergeant Major Pearson, Willie F. was born in a Bainbridge, Georgia and enlisted in the United States Army in February 1989. He attended Basic Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina and Advance Individual Training at Fort Gordon, Georgia graduating as a 25U (Signal Support Systems Specialist).
Command Sergeant Major Pearson has held every leadership position to include: Squad Leader, Section Sergeant, Platoon Sergeant, Battalion Communications Chief, First Sergeant, Senior Enlisted Advisor and Command Sergeant Major. Command Sergeant Major Pearson's previous duty assignments include HHB, 3rd Battalion 11th Field Artillery, at Fort Lewis, Washington; 6th Battalion, 502 Infantry Regiment, Berlin Brigade, Germany; Headquarter and Headquarter Company, 86th Signal Battalion, Fort Huachuca, Az; Headquarter and Headquarter Company 307th Signal Battalion, Camp Carroll, Korea; 519th Military Police Battalion, Fort Polk, Louisiana; 57th Military Police Company, Camp Carroll, Korea; HWB 1st Squadron 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment, Fort Polk, Louisiana; Headquarter and Headquarter Troop, 2nd Squadron 2nd Armory Cavalry Regiment, Fort Polk, Louisiana; 1st Squadron 2nd Armory Cavalry Fort Lewis, Washington; 472d Signal Company, Fort Lewis, Washington; 63rd Network Support Company, Fort Lewis, Washington; United States Sergeant Majors Academy, Fort Bliss, Texas; Joint Communications Support Element (JCSE) MacDill AFB, Florida. He is currently station at Fort Carson, Colorado with the 4th Brigade Special Troop Battalion, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team.
In July 1996, he deployed to Bosnia-Herzegovina with the 519th Military Police Battalion as a Battalion Communication Chief and the Battalion Signal Officer for nine months. From March 2003 until March 2004, he deployed to Baghdad, Iraq with the 2nd Armory Cavalry Regiment as the Squadron Communication Chief. From April 2007 until June 2008, he deployed to Iraq with the 472d Signal Company as the First Sergeant. From September 2009 until June 2010, he deployed to Iraq with the 63rd Network Support Company as the First Sergeant. From 12 February 2104 until September 2014, Command Sergeant Major Pearson deployed with the 4th Brigade Special Troop Battalion, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team as the Command Sergeant Major.
Command Sergeant Major Pearson's military education includes the Warrior Leaders Course, Air Assault Course, Stand Communication Security Course, Advance Leader Course, Transport and Storage Hazards Material Course, Senior Leader Course, Signal Equipment Maintenance Course, First Sergeant Course and the Unites States Army Sergeant Major Academy.

Command Sergeant Major Pearson has a High School Diploma from Bainbridge High School. At this time, he has an Associate degree in Applied Technology from Central Texas College.
Command Sergeant Major Pearson is married to Felicia Renee Pearson. They have been married for seventeen years and they have two boys, Kevin and Devante.
