MISSION

The Directorate of Plans, Training, Mobilization, and Security (DPTMS) is the S2/S3 Operations staff for USAG Yongsan Garrison. DPTMS missions include Operations, Plans, Security/Intelligence, Protection (Antiterrorism/Force Protection & Base Defense), Training, Emergency Management, H-264 Heliport operations, and Visual Information (VI).

DPTMS also manages the Installation Operations Center (IOC), command's wartime mission, Destructive Weather program, Tenant Unit taskings, garrison Staff Duty Officer/Staff Duty NCO duty, Command Presence Patrol (CPP), Post Police program, Noncombatant Evacuation Operations (NEO), and Serious Incident Reporting (SIR).

The DPTMS is also in charge of making reservations for the Multi-Purpose Training Facility (MPFT) and Yongsan Conference Center.

Also, the DPTMS supervises the garrison staff during real world emergencies and joint-combined exercises, and through force protection measures and initiatives, helps keep the Area II community a safe place to live and work.
