Col. Maria P. Eoff assumed command of U.S. Army Garrison Yongsan on July 29, 2014. She is responsible for management of the military community to include all support activities that support customer service, quality of life issues, and mission accomplishment for the Area II Community in Yongsan, Seoul, South Korea.

Colonel Maria P. Eoff is a recent graduate of the Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy, National Defense University, Fort McNair, Washington D.C.

Colonel Eoff's prior assignment was Director, Public and Congressional Affairs, U.S. Army Materiel Command -- the Army's premier provider of materiel readiness to ensure dominant land force capability for the U.S. Warfighter and our allies.

Colonel Eoff was commissioned in May 1989 in the Ordnance Corps after graduating as a Distinguished Military Graduate from the University of California, Berkeley's ROTC Program. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Saint Mary's College of California, Master's Degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College (class of 2002), and a Master's Degree in National Resource Strategy from the National Defense University (class of 2014).

Colonel Eoff's awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal (1 Oak Leaf Cluster), Meritorious Service Medal (1 Silver Oak Leaf Cluster), Army Commendation Medal (3 Oak Leaf Clusters), Army Achievement Medal (1 Oak Leaf Cluster), National Defense Service Medal (1 Bronze Service Star), Southwest Asia Service Medal (2 Campaign Stars), Afghanistan Campaign Medal (1 Campaign Star), Iraq Campaign Medal (1 Campaign Star), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (numeral 5), Army Superior Unit Award, Senior Parachutist Badge, Air Assault Badge, and the Basic Recruiter Badge. Her foreign decorations include the German Armed Forces Badge for Military Proficiency (Bronze) and the Royal Australian Parachutist Badge.

Colonel Eoff is married to Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Robert W. Eoff, and they have two children, Ariana Kathleen (21) and Bryan Robert (19).
