BAGRAM AIRFIELD, Afghanistan - Against a background of the year's first dusting of snow on the surrounding mountains, 10th Combat Aviation Brigade's Task Force Phoenix conduct rotary wing operations.

10th CAB's helicopters, which include UH-60 Black Hawks, CH-47 Chinooks, AH-64 Apaches and OH-58 Kiowa Warriors, carry out their respective missions, personnel and cargo transport, close-air support and reconnaissance, around the clock in an effort to enable Afghan Security Forces to take on more missions independently.
