The Female Style and Accuracy Team, competitors on the U.S. Army Parachute Team, wrapped up competition in Slovakia finishing with Silver in overall country. Due to their high individual placing, the team walked away medal winners at the 30th FAI World Style and Accuracy Parachuting Championships in Slovakia. (FAI stands for the FAfAdAfAration AAfAronautique Internationale, the World Air Sports Federation, known as the world governing body for air sports and aeronautical world records.) The women held off the Russians in Style and placed higher in the accuracy rounds to fend off the Chinese and cinch a second place finish taking Silver in overall country in the competition. Overall country is computed by taking the highest four individual overall scores. The women will continue their overseas competition in Italy for the Euro cup event.
