FORT DETRICK, Md. -- Six Company A, 53rd Signal Battalion Soldiers competed recently in the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge qualifications hosted by Walter Reed Army Institute of Research.
The event, which is part of the German armed forces annual physical fitness test, took place through August and September and featured a revamped set of challenges including timed swimming, timed sprinting, and 9 mm qualifications.
The six Soldiers who participated and earned a Silver Badge are: Pfc. Eric Merritt, Spc. Edy Bridges, Staff Sgt. Justin Hamic, Staff Sgt. Ruben Martell, Sgt. Kyler Colgrove, and Staff Sgt. Levi Lindley.
