BAGRAM, Afghanistan - Wheeled vehicle mechanics with the 51st Transportation Company, 16th Sustainment Brigade, 21st Theater Sustainment Command's maintenance section remove the cab of a M1070 Heavy Equipment Transporter to gain access to the engine compartment during maintenance Aug. 28th. The 51st Trans. Co. conducts convoy escort team missions, which are essential to the defense of Afghan and other regional partners driving logistics convoys throughout Regional Command-East in northeastern Afghanistan.
