Hohenfels, Germany--Soldiers, civilians and family members came together for the USAG Hohenfels Community Bazaar to enjoy food, friends and a myriad of items from across Europe.

The Bazaar is an annual three day event hosted by the Hohenfels Community Spouses Club (HCSC) which brings Europe to those who can't or don't have time to get out and explore.

Hohenfels Garrison Commander, Lt. Col. John Strange stated, "The bazaar a great place to sample wares from all across Europe." From Polish pottery to Persian rugs, the bazaar offers something for everyone. With over thirty-one vendors, there is no lack of unique items for purchase. Goods included hand-made furniture, antiques, gourmet cheeses, artesian Christmas ornaments, and much more.

Instrumental in planning the event, Mrs. Rowley who heads the HCSC said, "I also want to extend a sincere thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the volunteers, and express my gratitude to those in advance that will give their time throughout this weekend." The bazaar would not have been possible without the efforts of all the volunteers that dedicated their precious time to ensure Hohenfels was able to have this special annual event.

Mrs. Vikki Chelette is an Army spouse who looked forward to the Bazaar and all it had to offer. "This bazaar is amazing, there's so much to look at and choose from. I really love the vendor that has the paintings, they're gorgeous." exclaimed Mrs. Chelette.

Soldiers, families and civilians from Hohenfels flocked to the bazaar to start their holiday shopping early for themselves and their families still in the United States. With so much variety, shoppers found themselves at the bazaar for hours just looking around.

The Hohenfels Community Bazaar wasn't just a way to get your holiday shopping done, but also a way to enjoy a wide variety of merchandise from all of Europe.
