REDSTONE ARSENAL, Ala. - The North Alabama International Trade Association announced that the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command will participate in a Foreign Military Sales day for industry and business representatives. A new location has been selected to hold the Dec. 11 event. The meeting will now take place at Huntsville's U.S. Space & Rocket Center in the Davidson Center for Space Exploration Auditorium from 1:30 to 5:30. The meeting will include presentations from various FMS organizations and highlight cases being conducted in the geographic area of U.S. Forces Africa Command (AFRICOM).

A representative from the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Defense Exports and Controls will address challenges and initiatives associated with technology security and disclosure of information and release of hardware to other nations. Army Contracting Command representatives will address expediting the contract award process.

There is no cost to attend the meeting, but advanced reservations are requested as spaces are limited to no more than two representatives from each business, company or corporation. Reservations will be made on a first-come, first-served basis.
