RICHMOND, Va. -- Brig. Gen. John O'Neil, Quartermaster General and Quartermaster School commandant, addresses Soldiers and civilians attending a leader development training session at the Virginia War Memorial Sept. 5.
The event allowed participants to broaden their understanding of resources and information available for service members transitioning from the military back into the community. Topics included current credentialing initiatives and the Virginia Values Veterans program that encourages businesses to hire veterans, National Guardsmen and Reserve service members.
After the training, Soldiers toured the memorial, which is the Commonwealth of Virginia's monument honoring the memory of Virginia's men and women, who demonstrated a willingness to serve and fight.
