PENTAGON, Washington DC (Aug. 26, 2013) --Paul D. Cramer was inducted into the Senior Executive Service during a ceremony held in the Hall of Heroes here today.
Last month, Cramer was promoted to the position of Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army, (Installations, Housing, and Partnerships).
Cramer brings a wealth of experience to the Senior Executive Service, having served in numerous positions of increasing responsibility within the Army. For the past three years, he has been responsible for Construction, Housing and Base Operation issues at the Army Secretariat level. He has also served as the Acting DASA (IH&P) for nearly two years.
His previous positions include: Director of Public Works, Ft. Irwin, CA; Director of Public Works, Ft. Polk, LA; Chief of Public Works, Installation Management Command, Korea-Region; and Deputy Garrison Commander, US Army Garrison, Yongsan, Korea.
Cramer is a licensed Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Virginia. He obtained his Masters Degree in Engineering Management from the University of Missouri-Rolla, and his Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from South Dakota State University.
Mr. Cramer was recognized for his achievements with the Superior Civilian Service Medal and the Commanders Award for Civilian Service.
