Joseph Kesner, C Company, 148th Infantry Battalion, 37th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, discuss the Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems carried onboard the High Mobility Multi-purpose Wheeled Vehicle, Jul 14, 2008, at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait.  Chaney is a Department of the Army Civilian volunteer deployed to Southwest Asia from CECOM-Europe, Mannheim, Germany.  As senior command representative Chaney serves as the single point of contact in Southwest Asia for all CECOM-related C4ISR matters.

Petty Officer 3rd Class Gilbert Yribe, from Garden Grove, Calif., dumps a load of gravel into the drainage ditch alongside the newly paved portion of South Carolina Road adjacent to the Army Materiel Command housing complex at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, July 15, 2008.  Yribe, is an equipment operator with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 74, a U.S. Navy "Seabee" unit that has been paving the main routes running through the camp\'s Zone 6 area.
