FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo. -- The U.S. Army Engineer School and Regiment changed leadership during a change-of-commandant ceremony held in Nutter Field House, July 30.
Brig. Gen. Anthony Funkhouser assumed command from Brig. Gen. Peter DeLuca in the ceremony presided over by Maj. Gen. Leslie Smith, Maneuver Support Center of Excellence and Fort Leonard Wood commanding general.
Funkhouser, now the 95th USAES commandant, comes to Fort Leonard Wood from Portland, Ore., where he was assigned as commanding general, U.S. Army Engineer Division, Northwestern.
DeLuca will move on to Vicksburg, Miss., as commanding general, U.S. Army Engineer Division, Mississippi Valley.
