Korean elementary school students tour Yongsan Garrison

YONGSAN GARRISON, Republic of Korea - Children from Seoul's Eungbong Elementary School toured Yongsan Garrison July 2. The 35 sixth-graders got a close-up look at Yongsan Fire Station operations, tried on firefighter equipment, climbed aboard a fire engine, and received a class from Fire Inspector Pak Chang-pom on how to properly use a fire extinguisher. The children also visited the Tactical Vehicle Maintenance Motor Pool of the 532nd Military Intelligence Battalion. Staff Sgt. Stacey Jackson, 532nd MIB, showed the kids a High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle, commonly known as "Humvee." This visit was part of the U.S. Forces Korea Good Neighbor Program.
