Army North senior enlisted leader urges NCOs to practice leadership

FORT SAM HOUSTON, Texas " Command Sgt. Maj. Hu Rhodes, U.S. Army North (Fifth Army), and senior enlisted leader for Fort Sam Houston and Camp Bullis, tells his noncommissioned officers to "practice their leadership" during a NCO professional development session May 30 at the Warfighter and Family Readiness Center. "If you know something is wrong and you see it " do something about it," Rhodes said. "That's practicing your leadership." He built the discussion around topics that included suicide prevention, sexual assault and harassment prevention, as well as the expected effects of sequestration, both for Army North and for Joint Base San Antonio overall.
