ANNISTON ARMY DEPOT, Ala. -- Matt Hunter, chief of Anniston Army Depot's Managerial Accounting Division in the Directorate of Resource Management, is one of 12 Army Materiel Command employees chosen as AMC Personnel of the Year.

The annual award, named in honor of Louis Dellamonica, a general engineer who worked at Hawthorne Army Depot for 65 years, is given to top employees selected from throughout the command.

According to AMC, only employees who have significantly contributed to the command's mission and overarching goals and objectives for the year are honored.

Hunter was nominated and chosen because of his knowledge and assistance with the Logistics Management Program.

Not only was he instrumental in the program's implementation at Anniston, but he assisted with issues and implementation throughout AMC.

"I love what I do and I enjoy being in a position to help not only Anniston, but the other LMP sites as well," said Hunter.

Dennis Brooks, the depot's director of resource management, nominated Hunter for the award because of his ability to resolve issues with the depot's use of LMP and his willingness to share those solutions and his knowledge with ANAD's sister installations.

"I'm not one to keep knowledge," said Hunter. "I want to share with as many people as I can with the goal of helping the whole of AMC and the Army."
