BAMBERG, Germany (June 5, 2013) -- Jess Penner and her band will entertain the crowd at Engineer Lake during the fourth annual Night at the Lake event June 14 at 7 p.m.

A singer songwriter from Los Angeles, Penner's joyful songs have been featured in many commercial campaigns, movies and television shows in the U.S. as well as abroad.

"It's the best setting for watching a concert we've had in Bamberg, with the lake as a backdrop under the stars," said Jack Austin, entertainment director of The Stable Theater.

Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation has organized the Night at the Lake event since 2010, providing a safe camping atmosphere for all community members to enjoy.

The event starts at 3 p.m. and camping gear is available for rent at a reduced rate through Outdoor Recreation. Items available include tents, sleeping bags, sleeping pads and propane stoves. The price list for rental equipment can be found on the USAG Bamberg website at www.bamberg.army.mil/directorates/dfmwr/odr.asp.

Whether community members want to pitch a tent next to a campfire and spend the night, or if they just want to stop by to enjoy the free entertainment provided, all are welcome at this family-friendly outdoor event.

In case of inclement weather, the concert will move indoors to the JFK Teen Center.
