WARREN, Mich. -- The TACOM Life Cycle Management Command (LCMC) is proud to have two recipients of the Louis Dellamonica Award for Outstanding Army Materiel Command Personnel of the Year for 2012, Denver F. (Frank) Olive and Matthew J. Hunter.

Olive is a logistics regional manager assigned to the Third Infantry Division at Fort Stewart, Georgia. He has served as a Department of the Army civilian employee for 16 years, including six six-month rotations into Southwest Asia, and has 22.5 years of previous active duty military service. He has played a significant role in the effort to withdraw TACOM equipment from Iraq.

"It is a great honor and privilege to be recognized as a recipient of this Award," Olive said. "It is very humbling to be measured by Mr. Louis Dellamonica's standards. I'm very appreciative of the leadership for nominating me."

"I would also like to thank all of my peers and co-workers within the TACOM LCMC community. Without their team effort, the success I have enjoyed would not have been possible," Olive continued.

Hunter serves as chief of the Managerial Accounting Division at Anniston Army Depot.

He worked extensively on the accounting aspects of the conversion of the Integrated

Facilities System to the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), and also corrected numerous accounting errors within the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) system. His efforts have benefitted not only Anniston, but also the other depots and arsenals.

"I am so excited to be receiving this award! When I first heard that I had been selected I could hardly believe my ears," Hunter said.

The Louis Dellamonica Award is presented annually to those who have significantly contributed to AMC's mission and overarching goals and objectives for the year. The award is presented in honor of Louis Dellamonica, a general engineer who worked at the Hawthorne Army Depot for 65 years. His career exemplifies integrity, innovation, leadership, and outstanding dedication to AMC's mission.
