KHOWST PROVINCE, Afghanistan -- 3rd Platoon, Company D, 2nd Battalion, 506th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, conducted a patrol in Khowst Province, Afghanistan, on May 19, 2013. Partnership patrols have advanced from being "shoulder to shoulder" to "over the shoulder", advising the Afghan National Security Forces while they take the lead.
