TAMC Army Nurse Corps recognized by State of Hawaii during proclamation signing

HONOLULU (January 26, 2018) - State of Hawai'i Governor David Ige signed a proclamation statement in recognition of the U.S. Army Nurse Corps' 117th Birthday, announcing January 29 - February 3, 2018 as "U.S. Army Nurse Corps Week" in the great state of Hawaii. The proclamation signing took place at the state capitol, executive chambers where 20 nurses from Tripler Army Medical Center, also known as TAMC, were invited to attend the declaration on behalf of the military treatment facility. During this time Ige asked the people of Hawai'i to join us in recognizing the importance, contributions and sacrifices of the men and women serving in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps, and also recognized TAMC for over 100 years of service in the Aloha State.
