Constitution Font
The typography on the uniforms links the Army's present to America's founding documents. Written in the same style as the United States Constitution, it showcases the importance of having an Army that swears loyalty to a set of ideas rather than a monarch. These players will all swear to uphold and defend this very document - a compact that has guided our nation throughout its vaunted history - upon their graduation and commissioning into the United States Army.

The Great Seal
The Great Seal on the right shoulder symbolizes the Army’s duty to the United States in both peace and war. The olive branch and the arrows held by the eagle signify America’s ability to pursue peace or war and these players understand that the Army has a duty to perform under either condition. In times of peace the Army has served the nation honorably conducting a myriad of difficult duties and in times of war the Army has stood as the vanguard of freedom and the American way of life.

AMERICA'S FIRST NATIONAL INSTITUTION
Since its establishment on June 14, 1775 — more than a year before the Declaration of Independence — the U.S. Army has played a vital role in the growth and development of the American nation. Drawing on both long-standing militia traditions and recently introduced professional standards, it won the new republic's independence in an arduous eight-year struggle against Great Britain. At times, the Army provided the lone symbol of nationhood around which patriots rallied.
