Anderson was promoted during a ceremony at Fort Knox, Ky., Oct. 1, 2011. As a citizen-Soldier, Anderson is employed by the United States Courts, where she serves as the clerk of Bankruptcy Court, Western District of Wisconsin, located in Madison, Wis.
