Lieutenant Colonel John Gaivin

Lieutenant Colonel John Gaivin was born in Salem, Massachusetts. In 1991, his military career began as a Private and he attended Basic Training at Fort Jackson, SC and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Sam Houston, TX.

As an Enlisted Soldier, he served with 3rd Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, Fort Ord, CA, A Company, 168th Area Medical Support Battalion, Camp Red Cloud, Korea, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, TX, Keller Army Community Hospital, West Point, NY, and The United States Armor Center and School, Fort Knox, KY. In 1999, he went on to Officer Candidate School, where he was then Commissioned to a Second Lieutenant in the Quartermaster Corps.

Lieutenant Colonel Gaivin's military education includes the Warriors Leadership Course, Advanced Leadership Course, Quartermaster Officer's Basic Course, Combined Logistics Captains Career Course and Intermediate Level Education at the US Army Command and General Staff College. He holds a Bachelors of Science Degree from Saint Thomas Aquinas College and Masters of Science in Business and Supply Chain Management from the University of Kansas' School of Business.
