3rd Security Force Assistance Brigade

"The Highest Standard"

OUR MISSION

The 3rd SFAB is ready to serve as one of U.S. Army Central’s primary enablers for security force assistance in support of regional contingencies. The 3rd SFAB builds partner capacity and increases interoperability in support of U.S. Central Command’s campaign objectives and bi-lateral plans. Our advisors enable the Coalition Forces Land Component Command to quickly build combat power and transition from competition to conflict in support of operation plans.

The 3rd SFAB partners with a diverse array of countries throughout CENTCOM’s area of responsibility that includes 21 nations in the Middle East, Central and South Asia, and the surrounding strategic waterways. These nations represent a mosaic of cultural intricacies and diplomatic relationships that are vital to U.S. national interests.
