Army Reserve Child and Youth Services Program
What is it?
The Army Child Youth Services (CYS) Directorate, U.S. Army Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Command (FMWRC) has extended its mission of providing services that support the readiness and well-being of Families to include those Families that are geographically dispersed.
What has the Army Reserve done?
The U.S. Army Reserve Command (USARC) CYS staff includes 21 full-time staff positions. The program manager, located at the USARC under the supervision of the director of Army Reserve Family Programs, implements the tasks assigned to the USAR CYS Program, the 18 CYS regional coordinators, and the two outreach liaison coordinators to ensure development of programs and implementation of initiatives.
