Staff Sgt. Michael D. McPhail, an international rifle shooter with the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit, Fort Benning, Ga., has distinguished himself through his many accomplishments.
McPhail enlisted in the Army Aug. 16, 2004. After he completed Basic and Infantry Training at Fort Benning, he was assigned to the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit Jan. 3, 2005.
McPhail, who started shooting in 1996 and was a member of his college team, has numerous shooting accomplishments. The following are some highlights over the course of his career.
