    A video produced by Karen Drake's video communications class at Vicenza High School, on Caserma Ederle in Vicenza, Italy, has been selected as an award winner by the Military Child Education Coalition. In its selection of the VHS video, the MCEC cited its accurate portrayal of the military child's move overseas. MCEC will make a $500 donation to the S2S to further its activities. The video is presently being shown at both VHS and Vicenza Middle School.

Snowball Express is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide hope and new memories for the children and spouses of military members who fell since Sept. 11, 2001. American Airlines and American Eagle partnered with Snowball express to fly nearly 1,800 family members from across the country to Dallas/Fort Worth at no charge.
