The promotion made Texidor of Arecibo, Puerto Rico, the first Hispanic to achieve the rank of CW5 in the Army's Food Service branch. CW5 is the highest rank in the Warrant Officer Corps. Maj. Gen.     FORT HOOD, Texas - Lt. Col. Jack Usrey , the division personnel officer, completed ten, ten-mile loops around the 1st Cav. Div. area from Oct. 27-29, starting and stopping at the 1st Cav. Div. memorial on Cooper Field. The date marks his second time to complete 100 miles since his double knee replacement surgery on Oct. 28, 2008. During the walk, Usrey simultaneously raised more than $7,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization, designed to take action to help injured servicemen and women of this generation. According to Pentagon estimates there are nearly 40,000 servicemen and women who have returned from a deployment going through a rehabilitation fight.
