In accordance with the Department of Defense and the Department of the Army, the 598th Transportation Brigade Headquarters and 838th Transportation Battalion Headquarters, both elements of the Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command, will relocate from Rotterdam, The Netherlands, to the Kaiserslautern Military Community in Germany this spring to improve strategic deployment and distribution support to U.S. European Command and U.S. Africa Command, which are headquartered in Stuttgart, Germany.
