    WHEELER ARMY AIRFIELD, Hawaii -- The wind was blowing hard the morning of Feb. 9, but not hard enough to stop the 25th Combat Aviation Brigade from flying their OH-58 Kiowa Warrior helicopters one final time. The 25 Kiowas assigned to the 2nd Squadron, 6th Cavalry Regiment, 25th CAB were flown from their home here to Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam where they were prepared to be shipped back to the mainland where they will be retired. The Army is calling this process divestment.

Odierno observed Soldiers training at the Lightning Academy, received a brief on the Division's readiness, current and future training objectives from senior leaders throughout the Tropic Lightning Division. He also held a question and answer session at Sgt. Smith Theater to discuss Soldiers way of life, items that impact Soldier morale, the Sexual Harassment/Assault Response Program, female Soldiers taking a larger role in combat military occupation specialties, and other topics the Soldiers might have concerns about. Before departing Schofield Barracks, Gen. Odierno recognized 12 Soldiers for their contributions, dedication, and commitment to the U.S. Army and 25th Infantry Division.
