Capt. Ulrich Meyfeld, German 26th Airborne Brigade, pins German jump wings on a U.S. soldier during Operation Toy Drop, Dec. 6, at Sicily Drop Zone, Fort Bragg. Operation Toy Drop is an annual Airborne jump held at Fort Bragg, N.C., and is hosted by the U.S. Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command (Airborne), and supported by Fort Bragg's XVIII Airborne Corps and Pope Air Force Base's 43rd Airlift Wing. Over 900 Soldiers donated a toy to help local families in need for a lottery ticket for the chance to jump under an international jumpmaster in order to earn either German or Canadian jump wings this year.
