Exercise Yama Sakura 57 reunites USARPAC Soldier with family in Japan

Masato Okuhara draws a diagram to show his nephew, Capt. Ryan Mento, a U.S. Army, Pacific, which part of Henza, an island of Okinawa, their family hid out in during World War II. Mento visited his uncle, a veteran of World War II who lives in Northern Japan, while working Exercise Yama Sakura 57, an annual bilateral exercise between the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force and the U.S. Army.
