Indian and U.S. Army conduct joint MEDEVAC training at YA 09

CAMP BUNDELA, India (Oct. 22, 2009) - A notional venomous snake bite requiring medical evacuation is attended to with a bilateral operation between the Indian Army and U.S. Army during Exercise Yudh Abyas 09, an exercise involving the Armies of India and the United States. Sgt. Jesus Torres, emergency care sergeant, and Cpt, Drew Webb, squadron physician assistant, both from the 2nd Squadron, 14th Cavalry Regiment "Strykehorse," 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, from Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, treat the patient from their medical Stryker prior to arrival of a helicopter.
