EASTMAN LAKE, Calif. (Nov. 18, 2008) - A bald eagle fledgling soaks up morning sun at Eastman Lake in November 2008. The only one of three young at Eastman to fledge in 2008, the bird is the offspring of one of America's most productive bald eagle pairs, resident at the park since 1993. The pair has fledged 35 young since 1993, including three in 2009.
