Tracking bald eagles at Corps' Eastman Lake

EASTMAN LAKE, Calif. (Aug. 10, 2009) -- Eastman Lake Senior Ranger Doug Plitt and volunteer Bowman Looney scan the lake for three new bald eagle fledglings Monday, Aug. 10. Eastman is home to one of America's most productive bald eagle pairs, fledging three young in 2009. Looney has assisted Eastman in tracking the birds for over a decade.
