BAGHDAD - Spc. Franklin Cardenas, Army Reserve heavy equipment operator assigned to the 277th Engineer Company, 46th Eng. Bn., 225th Eng. Bde., exits from a D-9 bulldozer after clearing an area of rocks in northeast Baghdad, July 30. The D-9 bulldozer is the largest piece of engineering equipment the military has. "I like being able to come out and move dirt," said Cardenas, a native of Luling, Texas. "It's rewarding and there's a feeling of self-satisfaction."
