Lt. Gen. Benjamin R. Mixon, commander, U.S. Army Pacific and Tentara Nasional Indonesia- Angkatan Laut, or Indonesian Navy Vice Admiral Y. Didik Heru Purnomo, the head of general staff for the Indonesian Armed Forces, cut the ribbon at a newly build baby care clinic in a village approximately 30 minutes from Bandung, Indonesia, June 28. The ceremony marked the completion of three Humanitarian and Civic Assistance projects, which are part of Garuda Shield 2009. The projects were a joint effort between engineers from the Tentara Nasional Indonesia-Ankatan Darat, or Indonesian Army, and engineers assigned to the Utah National Guard.
