Sgt. David Dasilma and Spc. Jonathan Jordan were named the winners of the 2009 U.S. Army Medical Command Noncommissioned Officer and Soldier of the Year "Best Warrior" competition held at Madigan Army Medical Center and Fort Lewis, Wash., March 29 to April 3. Dasilma represented the Pacific Regional Medical Command and Jordan represented the Great Plains Regional Medical Command. Ten NCOs and 10 Soldiers from 10 medical commands participated in the competition for the right to be named the top NCO or Soldier in the MEDCOM. Both Dasilma and Jordan will represent the U.S. Army Medical Command at the Army NCO and Soldier "Best Warrior" competition later this year.
