BAGHDAD - An Iraqi Army soldier patrols the streets in the Fadhil neighborhood of eastern Baghdad March 29 in order to restore law and order following two days of sporadic gunfire between the Iraqi Security Forces and members of the local Awakening Council. The fighting began Saturday following the warrant-based arrest of local Awakening Council leader Adil al-Mashhadani. ISF took to the streets in order to restore peace in the region. ISF was supported by U.S. forces during the Iraqi-led military operation.
