Royal Thai Air Force, U.S. military team up for search and rescue training during Exercise Cobra Gold 2009

KORAT, Thailand- Royal Thai Flying Officer Akkara Khaovises, an F-16 pilot, and Capt. Elisabeth Lompert, an airborne air controller with the U.S. Air Force 962nd Squadron, stop to confirm their position, while evading simulated enemies, during a Combat Search and Rescue Course Feb 11, as a part of Cobra Gold 2009. Cobra Gold is an annual joint multinational exercise focused on maintaining and improving military interoperability among its participant.
