USAG Schinnen, NETHERLANDS – Sizzlin’ strings! Renae Claveria, fiddle playing on the left, and Wade Kirby, whaling on his guitar, perform with Thom Shepherd and the Nashville Songwriters Band to service and family members assigned to the Tri-Border region of Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands in the U.S. Army Garrison Schinnen Activity Center Jan. 7, 2009. Wade Kirby co-wrote the June 2008 number one hit “I Saw God Today” with Monty Criswell – a song recorded by George Strait. Claveria also lit up the stage with her fiddle during this Armed Forces Entertainment tour that included stops at Kaiserslautern and Ramstein, Germany; Camp Bondsteel, Nothing Hill and Film City, Kosovo; the American Embassy and Hard Rock Café in Warsaw, Poland; Kleine Brogel, Belgium; and Rotterdam and USAG Schinnen, Netherlands from Dec. 26, 2008 to Jan 8, 2009.
