Amputee Earns Commission Through Army ROTC

In June 2005, Ingram, then a cavalry scout, suffered injuries in Iraq that resulted in the amputation of a portion of his left arm. He is the first individual with such severe combat injuries received during the Global War on Terrorism to earn a commission through the Army ROTC program.
